Devlog

Starting off we got the base layout set up as well as a working main menu that lets you choose the player count and take you to the game level.

We had some trouble creating models and importing them to the game and struggled to give an object that isn't the player input controls.

Currently the next goal is to get the coding for one player and their pan to apply to 4 players.

DO NOT USE AXIS INPUT IF YOU PLAN TO INCORPORATE EASE IN/OUT. It's not easy.

1 player game is working. Still working on getting it to work with multiple people. We figured out how to make a respawn point, added barrels that give points when you land the pancake in, and a countdown timer that will end the game at 0. A model of a kitchen set was also added to the project and will be textured eventually.

After first playtest:
The biggest comment we got about our game was the speed of it, which we believed to be just something that Ian's laptop did as he has had issues with it lagging in the past. When the game lagged out, everyone's button inputs slowed but the timers kept going, which lost about 10 seconds of playtime every time we ran the game. The other major comment was that the kitchen felt eerie, and the kitchen seemed to be pointed at a downward angle with how the camera was set up. We are in the process of adding textures to the kitchen appliances, as well as the floor and moving barrels to make the space feel more real and "normal", and will be looking into playing with the camera angle for each players viewport.

Future Plans:
Figure out why it lags so much and when it does lag why the pan moves slowly. If can't get to work properly, convert to single player game.
